What did you do this past week?

I spent most of the time to work the project Collatz and the project for CS 439. They made me very busy this week and I am trying to balance my workload and get enough sleep.

What’s in your way?

I am getting tired this week, so I always did homework at the last minute which I used to hate. I would say the large workload is in my way at this moment and I am trying to balance with all of my courses. Hope I will feel better next week.

What will you do next week?

I have a test next week. After that, I would have more time to relax. I will probably get myself some credit to go out eating in a fancy restaurant.

If you read it, what did you think of the Paper #3: Continuos Integration?

I think Continuous Integration is pretty useful for us. When we are working on a project, it is good for us to test and find the bugs earier so that we could fix them as soon as possible instead of cumulating the bugs after wrting a whole lot of codes.

What was your experience of IsPrime and Collatz optimizations? (this question will vary, week to week)

I took OOP last semester with Professor Downing, so IsPrime is very similar with me. For the Collatz project I did last year. I tried lazy cache and meta cache in order to pass test 3 in HackerRank.

What made you happy this week?

My friends and I booked a surfing class this week. It was so tired and I quite in the middle of the class since I was very afraid of sea. I would rather watch them surfing.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

I found a very useful website for getting a job as programmer. This is called Tech Interview Handbook. There are a lot of suggestions when we are doing an interview or even post interview. I will attach a link below for anyone interested in.
